How long will Archies Thongs last?Updated a year ago
With proper care, you should get 1 to 2 summers of excellent use. After the first year, the lifespan depends on the following factors:
- How often do you wear them and how heavy you are on your feet
- The surface they are commonly worn on
- The activity that you do while wearing them
- If you've cared for your thongs
However, generally speaking, the thongs are exceptionally strong and durable. They will almost always wear out before they break! This is something that our customers frequently tell us, and it is extremely rare for us ever to get any customer complaints about the durability of our thongs.
We have witnessed people wear the same pair of Archies Thongs for over 5 years; however, normally, the grip will be worn down after wearing them for this long.
We recommend keeping an eye on the grip: If you notice a loss of 80% of grip height or smooth patches developing (as in the mint pair below), then it's time to get a new pair.
Also, everyone has a different definition of what is worn out and what's not! While we believe that the wear of Archies Thongs is excellent and as good as you will ever find in this sort of thongs, at the end of the day, they still are just thongs (very special thongs) and after considerable use, they will eventually start to wear down and out.
Our warranty covers the thongs for up to 6 months from receipt of the goods.
All in all, based on thousands and thousands of happy customers, you should not have any concerns whatsoever about the durability of our thongs. They are very strong and durable.
